It's that time of year again...

Yes, it's the 129th annual Audio Engineering Society convention, held in San Francisco! The awesome starts Thursday, and goes through Sunday.

If you're a student, you can Google for a free exhibit pass, to go in and see all of the vendors pushing their product. And hopefully, unlike the 2008 convention, the Celemony guy won't be so sad, because 'Direct Note Access' is actually out!

Also, students, if you can spare the $30 a year membership fees, it's worth it! You get access to a lot of great information, can join the student chapter, AND the membership fees practically pay for themselves with the access to scientific papers for research projects.

You'll be getting live coverage from your favorite audio blog team [ahem], in the days to come. See you in San Francisco*!

* From the entire We-Verb staff, we formally would like to congratulate the Giants for a kick-ass-world-championship-wielding year! Also, Brian Wilson, you're my OTHER hero named Brian Wilson.
